Toni,

Yes, I am okay thanks.

The rumor mill has spun the story of murder and broken bones for "a long time," sure, but law enforcement hasd not chosen to release a statement along those lines when I wrote my original comment, so until they do otherwise as far as I'm concerned rumors are just rumors.

When dead things lie outside for months in fields or woods, scavenger animals ravage and break bones. However disgusting and reprehensible that this happened to Morgan, in nature this is nothing new or unusual.

Also it is not difficult to grasp that just because her body was found "miles" from the entrance of AF, doesn't mean she had to have wandered from the gated front entrance of that remote farm to where her remains were found.

Anyone familiar with the area would know that the neighborhood McMansions of Blandemar Estates back up to within yards of where Morgan's remains were found. She could have been dropped off at a party going on at one of those houses that night, and too many drugs or too much alcohol was consumed.

I did write my original comment before it was released by Law Enforcement officials that forensics linked the Fairfax assault suspect to Morgan's case, so now perhaps it is a non-issue. Or perhaps not.

@Cee Cee are you okay? It's been well known for a long time now that she was murdered with broken bones. This article was written in January and her death was immediately ruled a homicide. She would of had to wander 1 1/2 miles into the farm before passing out by your accounts, not likely, even without her being murdered.

She probablyy died either from alcohol poisoning or the freezing temperatures when she hitched a ride heading to JMU or Blacksburg, and she changed her mind and told the driver to stop and let her out near Anchorage Farms, where she wandered in the woods and passed out.

If there is a killer running around loose, then why would authorities hold back so much information about this case, especially now?

Mr van zandt:I have always believed that Morgan harrington's friends, who attended the concert with her, did not tell police the whole story(or any story) that night in oct 2009, when they still may have been able to find Morgan in time..they did not even tell her parents Morgan became separated from them, nor did they tell her parents that they left the arena in MORGAN's CAR,BUT WITHOUT MORGAN!her parents were left unaware of anything, until Sunday, the next day, when they reported her missing..perhaps an alert from her pals on sat nite would not have saved Morgan, but it may have helped police in finding her(or her killer) sooner..the perp had too much of a head start....why would a girl leave her seat, right before her fave group in the world was to come on stage? the reason why she left the arena, either on purpose, or accidently,is still quite a mystery, even to those of us who have followed this story since oct 2009...if she was sober when she disappeared,my theory goes like this:i believe somebody must have promised her she would meet the group, but told her that he could only help her, not 5 other people..this may be why she agreed to meet that person alone, later in the evening..perhaps he made a promise of autographs, backstage pass, etc..if she were drunk when she disappeared,my theory goes something like this:,perhaps she did leave the arena accidently, then panicked when she realized she could not re-enter, per their policy..in that case, she may have seen an acquaintance outside, and accepted a ride from them, only because she had no other option...my last q.is,if she was in a panic, and did not expect to be left stranded outside the arena, why didnt she tell her friends the truth on the phone, instead of saying to them"dont worry, ill get a ride home from someone else"? could it be, that someone forced her(maybe had her at knifepoint?) to make that last call,so her friends would not come looking for her..maybe the perpetrator threatened her(or the friends')safety, if she did not go along with him.i am very sorry that her remains have been found, but i am also glad that her remains were found in a place in which she could not have arrived at by herself..this proves she had to have been killed there,or taken there after she was killed,by someone else..at least, that will stop all of the bloggers with their stupid theories of Morgan's supposed"suicide", or "drug overdose",in which she gets high or drunk, and simply"wanders off" to the field at Anchorage farms, passes out,and dies there....the fact that she was found 1.5 miles from any vehicle entry/roadway, proves she could not have gone into that property by herself..just my 4cents worth..let us pray they find those responsible and bringt hem to justice..kathy f.
